Chamorro Village Night Market
The Wednesday Night Market at the Chamorro Village, which is located at the Paseo de Susana in the village of Hagatna, is a popular ongoing weekly event filled with island culture, food, drink, entertainment, live music and much more.
The weekly night market takes place every Wednesday night between 6pm and 10pm. The crowd which visits the night market is a mix of tourists looking to experience the island’s Chamorro culture, and local residents wanting to enjoy some great food, social mingling, live entertainment and music.
In addition to the permanent shops which sell Guam-related products and gifts at the Chamorro Village daily, additional food vendors, crafters, and local shops setup temporary tents in and around Chamorro Village at the Wednesday Night Market to offer their goods and services to anyone interested in buying their products or services. You’ll be able to find unique Guam products for sale like handcrafted statues and display pieces made from ifit wood; traditional Chamorro jewelry made out of clam shells, carabao bone and other natural material; Guam-branded clothing; gold and silver Guam jewelry featuring unique symbols of Guam like the latte stone and Guam seal; and much more.
If your visiting Guam on vacation, Wednesday nights are the recommended time to visit the Chamorro Village for the best experience of the island’s local culture. In fact, we recommend you don’t leave Guam without visiting the Chamorro Village at least once on a Wednesday night.
